INU MUST GO

People say his best suited on the wing, but i believe he is not worth the money he is on.He looked half as sleep last night (as he always does) and was dominated from every run he had. We missed Grothe's runs last night and we should be looking at extending his contract and releasing Inu. What are your thoughts..

  • Actually the contrary happened. Inu had 2 bad runs in which he made like 4m each. Apart from that he was brilliant. His kick ahead allowed Burt to almost score a try but he didn't but it still good enough that pressured Gallant to be tackled in goal. From the following line drop out as a result of that good kick, Mortimer's pass led to Mateo's assist and then Tahu's try which put us at 18 all. His own try was very important in sealing game as he was smart enough to remain behind Reddy. Inu is not worth the money he is on now but he certainly deserves to stay on $100 - $140k depending on how much we have left.

These were his stats from yesterday night:
    4 Points
    6 Tackles
    2 Missed Tackles
    3 Hitups
    1 Offload
    101 Metres Gained

    They are pretty good.
  • I agree we missed the Gurus runs but Inu is so slippery, if he gets a few more runs on the wing we will see an improving Eels outfit score a lot of points through Inu's slipperiness.
  • I like both Inu and Grothe, but I think Inu was good last night. He scored a neat try and was decent in defence.
I think we can keep them both...
  • No that the game reached any great heights but I thought our defence on that wing looked better. And with Inglis on the market, Inu's just halved his value! Ha, ha!
    • The guy who wrote this post is a dud of a judge when it comes to knowing what kind of quality inu brings to a team. Not may outside backs possess half the skill Inu does.

      Enuff said
  • Grothe or Inu will leave end of year - for more opportunity or patrick cash. Inu is able to cover any position in the back line and could probaly play lock if need be. Grothe is great at what he does but 1 dimensional and older. Im swaying towards keeping inu and letting grothe go to ESL or Rugger.
  • We did miss grothe's run

but I think Inu was great last night

think u were watching the wrong game!
  • Really, I thought he was great, I didn't see them going to that wing too much and scoring....
  • I think Inu struggles with expectation...

On a seruious note... maybe a shitty contract next year will make him feel comfortable and hence play better.
