  DA doesn't sound all that bothered by the possibility of Inu asking for a release from the last year of his contract judging by the quotes in that article. "He's training here at the moment" he says. At the moment? That doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence that Krisnan will be an Eel beyond 2010. A departure may even come sooner than we thought. Not happy. I'd love him to stay.

  We need Inu to stay. Burt hasn't got more than 2 years in him. In 2012, we'll be short of a quality back based on our juniors right now. Even if a good junior develops, there is no guarantee he will stay with us or that he will be as good as Inu. If Inu goes, we also lose our next best goalkicker. Kris Keating cannot kick as well as Inu. No one else apart from Burt can.
  
  Inu is also a man that draws fans. The Smiling Assassin really got me excited in 2007 and will probably do so again this year. Fans love him. We can't lose a club man like him.
  
  As I have said before, losing Inu would be the biggest mistake our club will make this decade. Even if he plays with the incompetent Warriors, his skill and talent will come back to haunt us one day.

  surely we would keep inu over burt and grothe, yes they are loyal players but there were speculations of grothe wanting to go compare them and id keep inu
  inu is younger,faster, more skill and can take over from burt at goalkicking
  burt and grothe are getting on in age and dont have the wow or x factor
  And the last season especially grothe and burt sometimes were just as inconsistent as inu its just there out on the wing hiding
  i am a fan of burt and grothe and they are very loyal but inu has said he wants to stay and in my books i choose him
