Inu is back

His best game for a couple of years I thought. I know a lot of people were keen for him to play wing next year but I thought he showed tonight why he has to stay at centre. He can just make things happen and him and Tahu in the centres next year will just be incredible! Seemed to have his pace back too!

  • I thought Inu would have won man of the match but I agree, his best game this year or in years. The man is back and ready for finals.
  • Idk, I think he can be just as damaging on the wing outside Tahu who can put him in space. Inu on the wing is probablyu better than Reddy on the wing.
  • Inu's best game at the same time Reddy had a bit of a shocker.
    • Did Reddy have a schocker or did he receive the poisoned chalice? I really wouldn't like to have marked Marshall the way he was playing. That missed tackle that led to the first try could have been an awesome play on his part if he had have been able to make it. He read the play, ran out of the line and almost stopped Benji in his tracks.
      • A bit of both. With players of Benji's calibre and current form, you either stay with your line or get in his face as a group. Reddy did neither, he rushed up sometimes on his own and other times back peddled. Can't shoot him for it though, I would of hated to have been in his shoes!
  • I wonder where all those people who said we should replace him with "Maurice Who?". I am so glad he ain't going anywhere. I was bit disappointed with Reddy, I hope he will bounce back otherwise Jennings will crave him up again.
    • Maurice Blair lol.
    • I think so. I read somewhere that he has his casting off now and will start training soon with the boys
  • Its amazing what a difference a bit of confidence makes. I've commented before about his knee injury and the recovery time etc. Seems he has put the knee injury behind him and he seems to be enjoying his footy again.

I thought when he kicked for goal earlier in the year (when he had that shocker) the smile was forced. Last night the smile was natural.

If we get all our creative players firing at the same time, i.e. Hayne, Inu, Mateo, Mortimer, KK, you would have to say that we potentially have the most attacking flair in the comp. Add a fit Tahu next year and whoa, look out!!!
    • He didn't smile the last time he kicked. It was when they gave the kicking duties to Inu then gave it back to Burt.

Tonight, he only got it back cos Burt was injuired but I guess he didn't care about not smiling and smiled anyways...Smiling got the ball in between the posts maybe? hahaha as I read somewhere that DA told him not to smile.
