Inu for Crocker ? Lets have the ideas

looking at our team sheet without Shakelton we have a massive hole in the second row. Given we have Krisnan Joel and Jono Wright and all we do on the forum is argue who plays where I propose we dont need all 3.

So if Im Ozzie I offer Souths Inu for Crocker swap. They dont need as many forwards and need backs.

Anyone got a better plan ? Dont tell me you love Inu blah blah blah solve our problem of too many backs and no second rowers

  • Not a bad idea, however, I'd be looking at perhaps a younger, less injury prone, yet just as vigorous and aggressive forward to make the swap. Must say, the Warriors have been sniffing around Inu and I do like the look of young Russell Packer, but the Warriors are operating below the cap and could take Inu of our hands without needing to dispense with Packer.

I know, we offer the Sharks Inu and take Luke Douglas!! What do you think of that plan SBBB?? ;-)
  • Point with backs is we have more back up depth
  • thought Crocker could be a good 2010 swap and not load up our cap beyond this year
  • No, we were fine for second row talent, after all, we had so many riches in that area we decided to release the only forward outside of the top 17 with more than half a season of NRL experience.

In saying that, I don't think we need to panic yet. Brendan Oake will be going better than Lowrie by mid-season. And Tim Robinson and Justin Horo are good enough to play 20 odd minutes off the bench.

The real key is for the coaching staff to get stuck into Lasalo at Wenty. The kid is probably the second hardest running forward in the club behind Fuifui and if they harden up his defence he'll make an ideal interchange forward.
  • how about we support our players and not talk shit about them
im sick and tired of hearing this rubbish over and over again
if u cant support the player maybe we should swap u with a more loyal fan
  • Michael luck from warriors, they need a centre
  • Nice solution and if you stick your head deep enough into the sand you might kid youself its 1986 !!! and we still have a trophey cabinet
    • yeh 1986 cos of people like u with no faith in the players
  • I like Lassalo and his move from center to forwards was clearly a direction from above last year.

Im more worried if Hindy needs a break we now have very little experience as you point out
  • I still believe in Inu as a more than capable player with awesome potential. He hits hard, runs strongly and quickly, has good footwork and ball skills. He is also a good jumper for the high ball even if he does drop it a bit too much. I would like to see him and Hayne working on their old schoolboy football connection and bringing out some of that magic in each other. Don't bag him too much, I think you're doing him a major disservice.
