I watched NRL360 tonight and find that it would have been difficult dealing with someone that appears to be so Head strong as Phil Gould. He no doubt has a position within the club where he gets involved with all matters including the running of the footy team. A coach is appointed to coach a team and needs to have time to take control of such a large junior base as Penrith is and the position they are in now especially on the table is a position many clubs including ours would be greatful to be in. It is no doubt a decision to appoint Ivan Cleary for his son to remain at the club.
Yep, you're right parra fan. Penrith will rort the cap by announcing a huge father & son package deal.
Then, dad will give his son some of his money. This is how scared they are that the Bronco's might table a similar offer. Coaches salaries don't count under the cap so don't be surprised if there's a massive 10M or 12M dollar deal to lock em' up for 6 or 7 years.

I think that the salary cap for coaching staff is about $5.7 Mil. Not sure.
yes but it is only a "soft cap" basically it means that at worst you'll get a slap on the wrist fine for rorting the coaching cap
