  I watched NRL360 tonight and find that it would have been difficult dealing with someone that appears to be so Head strong as Phil Gould. He no doubt has a position within the club where he gets involved with all matters including the running of the footy team.  A coach is appointed  to coach a team and needs to have time to take control of such a large junior base as Penrith is and the position they are in now especially on the table is a position many clubs including ours would be greatful to be in. It is no doubt a decision to appoint Ivan Cleary for his son to remain at the club.

    Yep, you're right parra fan. Penrith will rort the cap by announcing a huge father & son package deal.

    Then, dad will give his son some of his money. This is how scared they are that the Bronco's might table a similar offer. Coaches salaries don't count under the cap so don't be surprised if there's a massive 10M or 12M dollar deal to lock em' up for 6 or 7 years.

      If Parra was smart we would have paid Semi’s dad a large amount to be our talent scout in Fiji - as long as Semi was at Parra

    Coaches are also subject to salary cap. This will include the money they will spend to pay out Griffins contract believed to be between $1 Mill and $1.6 Mil.
    
    I think that the salary cap for coaching staff is about $5.7 Mil. Not sure.

      yes but it is only a "soft cap" basically it means that at worst you'll get a slap on the wrist fine for rorting the coaching cap

      it is just Greenturd trying to cover a massive hole in his debacle of an administration with nothing but smoke and mirrors 

      anyone sucked in by this coaching cap is a moron of the highest order

  Surely this is starting to embarrass Nathan, and piss the rest of the panthers squad.

  What Gould and the Panthers have done to Hook stinks, what there doing to Tigers and there fans stink.

  I hope it all blows up in Goulds face.
