It was said during the commentary that, Robson, Keating and Morts aren't ball players, but work off the second phase play. In my opinion, I think KK is a ball player, whereas in Robbo's and Mort's case the second phase play last season might have made them look better than they really were. This isn't a stab at those players, I'm a big fan of Robson, but both have struggled to make an impact in the early rounds.
Although Robbo had a sound game at dummy half, wouldn't of been fussed if he played the full 80

I thought most of our forwards went a lot better though.
Like all fans we are all wondering what the hell went wrong everything went well on the back half of last year we know these players and the team can play a billion times better than that this has nothing to do with statistics or analysing players in their positions and if they are a good fit
We are all looking for the hard answers and excuses for a frustrating situation when the simple answers the team lack Urgency commitment the will to win aggression one word ATTITUDE!!!
Skills are not lost overnight or over a few months, it is the Attitude that is required to implement those skills on the park is the key until the eels get the Attitude back we are going nowhere Fast!!!!!!!!!!
Then only player I can honestly say I believe the eels are missing is Kingston!!!
But what about Lowrie ???
I must be THE ONLY Parra fan that misses Lowrie - his 80 minutes of quality is really missed by ME - I miss his work rate, his line speed, his off loads, his support play - Lowrie was a genuine QUALITY 80 minute UP TEMPO player on attack & defense
I know I have been going on about (possibly a bit much) lately - but seriously - didn't ANY of you see his UP SIDE and really don't you realise how his ABSENSE has unbalanced our ENTIRE forward pack
Lowrie was Parra's wild card last year - apart from Fui - was EASILY Parra's BEST forward in the second half of the year
Where were you people - probably alll caught up in Jarred & Morts hysteria and probably not watching the plays that matter - & that's always in the forward exchanges ???
