First impression was - WTF. It was a wtf moment and everyone that arrives in this house will know its a WTF moment

No words can describe my first thoughts as i walked into the first level of the new Parramatta Stadium - the photos we've seen really dont do this justice - breathtakingly steep - intimidating - super high - every seat will be extremely close - a gladiatorial colosseum in every aspect, i just smiled knowing this is going to be special.  The pitch area is actually dug down at least 15 meters below what we see from the outside making it feel extra steep.

Whoever design this deserves the upmost credit.

SYDNEY, - With its stand tilted at a 34-degree angle, Western Sydney Stadium, the steepest slope for a stadium in the world, is gradually taking shape as construction work is under way

It looked like a giant concrete fishbowl. I could hear the fans cheering for blood - at least referees blood, but this place seemed surreal. The closeness, the curved banks on either end, every fan will feel the rush as they first arrived through the gates and see this amazing place.

No stadium comes close to this feeling, not ANZ, not Eden park NZ,  not the SFS, not even Suncorp. It's the steepness and closeness which sets this apart from the rest. Other clubs are going to be extremely envious of what we have.

We have something super special here lads, no stadium in Australia comes close to this, there's no doubt this will be packed out on most occasions early in 2019. It's going to be well worth the price of admission.

Watch the stadium scenes in the movie Gladiator, this new stadium really has that colosseum feel. It will be an unbelievable feeling for each player running onto this pitch. If you guys think I'm exaggerating, you'll understand later.

Just don't ask how i got into the joint - ;)
