Injury Update & Unavailable List

An update on the Parramatta Eels squad heading into the pre-season trial against the Penrith Panthers.

Parramatta Eels Corey Norman suffered a hamstring strain in the Auckland Nines however is expected to return to the field for the Blue and Gold against the Sea Eagles in Round 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Scott Schulte is recovering from a hamstring strain and is expected to return in Round 1.

Cody Nelson is recovering from a calf strain and is expected to return in Round 2.

John Folau is recovering from a wrist fracture sustained in the pre-season and is expected to return Round 3.

New recruit Siosaia Vave is recovering from a shoulder operation and is expected to be available for selection in Round 2.

New recruit Will Smith is recovering from a knee reconstruction and is expected to be available for selection in Round 8.

New recruit Kirisome Auva’a is currently serving a suspension and will be available for selection in Round 2.

Hooker Isaac De Gois has been rested for the clash against the Panthers.
