Injury Update: Pre-Season Week 8

Eels youngster Richard Penisini will miss the 2024 season after suffering an ACL injury.

The local junior has undergone surgery and commenced his rehabilitation program.

In more positive news, Ryan Matterson has returned to full training after recovering from a quad injury he sustained pre-Christmas. Wiremu Greig is aiming to follow suit in the coming weeks.

Clint Gutherson, Junior Paulo, Makahesi Makatoa and Daejarn Asi are progressing with their rehabilitation programs, and all aiming to be fit for Round 1.
