Injuries and the Bulldogs.

Before Friday nights game I said to a mate, "I bet we come out with a few injuries maybe even season ending".

We did.

Last time we played them the field looked like a battle field at times with Parra troops laying injured all over the field.

Now, is this because the dogs are just a hard team who are brutal in defense?

OR

Is it because Hasler employs strategies and ways to make this happen?

  • I think it's bad luck more than anything
  • It's he result of trying to hard and putting your body through torture to cover for those that pull their finger out.
    • ...or those that WON'T pull their finger out?
Just makes you wonder though when last match there were five injuries and similar this time?
That's around 9-10 in two matches.
  • I've said the same thing to others. There's something about playing the Dogs that can create the worst for us - form, injuries, luck. Results wise, they are often better focussed than we are. Maybe mentally they have greater faith in themselves.
  • Did anyone see any instances of dirty play? (maybe Sandows shoulder charge). I saw a lot of tough football.

  • I'm starting to think it's a combination of tough and hard footy from the dogs and our blokes having to cover for an inept half defensively as some have mentioned.
    Defending basically with 12 men.
