All of these below are enough for me to believe neither the NRL or the Eels Board (and definitely not the News Ltd media) should be trusted to review this situation or navigate the path out of the mess that faces the Eels, the NRL and every other club. Has to be an independent body. Doesn't get more independent than the courts. Press forward gang of 5..... and let the cards fall where they may.

Great comment Mr Thompson. You are of course 100% correct. Although if I was running the NRL I would be in mediation discussions right now trying to find a settlement to avoid being humiliated in the courts. How these "reporters" are going to deal with Parramatta winning in court will be amazing to watch unfold. If the NRL don't settle this now, Greenberg will be out of his job before seasons end.
I agree. I wonder if the Eels opening all was the last thing Greenberg would have wanted. Almost a potential path of mutual destruction. He was after all the person that Seward used as his referee for the CEO role at Parra. To think he started as a receptionist at the Bulldogs. Greenberg himself may have been sweating bullets the day the Eels said they woudl open up all. The conflicts of interest are everywhere. No one is independent when it comes to CH9 or News Limited. Too many pay cheques. Many have gone to ground since yesterdays court appearance. I wonder if there is anyone in the ABC looking for a Walkley Award! If it drives an independent review of the NRL they would win one.
cool. It is gone from my blogs.
