"Damn it HKF, I was gonna ask where did Didly Squat come from to look them up.
Next you'll say Hock isn't coming."

"I am not too disheartened by that. If we got him then great but he is 29, having a few injuries and though a really good Winger he is an average Centre. I would rather Murray Taulagi."
"Spot on, other clubs are starting to announce signings but we have signed didly squat, no didly is not a winger."
"I'm more interested in who the Eels are going to sign to replace Lomax instead of worrying about the players that don't want to be at Parra. When are we going to hear some good positive signing news or it that it"

Instead they should rewrite the games rules to make it easier to officiate
To be completely fair while not all the officials dicked us in the a hole and we still had our chances but when the game winning try just so happens to be a forward pass that isnt called then its a bitter pill to swallow.
I hate it when the discussion is about the refereeing after the game and not the game. Brad Arthur is very dignifed and never blames the ref. I am not so noble. I am one eyed:
Souths seemed to have a penalty-free licence to attack the head and neck. Saw at least four of those.
The early penalty for competing in the air for the bomb- cost us a try
The knee to the head of Semi when he scored- if that is not a potential 8 point try, they should scrap that rule.
The two on one strip on Wicks, no penalty- cost us a try
Looked like a knock-on not called for their 3rd try-from where I sat.
Was their last try from a forward pass? When the Herald reports it it must be so- cost us the game.
Parra could have played better, so could have Souths. But we didnt get close to a fair suck of the sav.
I have to agree with the call on the knee to the head on Semi was not a penalty try or 8 points. As each on 9 said after watching the replays the first time & subsequent replays & it didn't look god at normal play it was accidental & not deliberate.
The player that was involved was coming at speed & if you watch it again he is coming & arm is outstretched trying knock the ball out from Semi, there was absolutely no way he could have pulled out at such a late play.
Not nice but not deliberate.
The penalty against Semi in going for the ball was a shocker, the only way he could have ruled that was Semi had leaped too early & a timing missjudgement as he was coming down as the Souths player was catching the ball & went over Semi's back. Semi had been going for the ball & fair contest to me.
We actually had quite a few go our way, but not in the aggression department.
i also thought the last 2 passes were forward for the last try
but on slow motion replay both passes left the hands backwards both passes were good
nothing to complain about .the commentators saw the passes as good
Deliberate = reckless
Accidental = careless or something similar. That is, even when it is not deliberate its still a penalty.
