Storm forward Nelson Asofa-Solomona has escaped sanction and will be free to play in Melbourne’s first finals game after Saturday’s match review committee released their findings.
The Melbourne prop, who made his return from injury against the Sharks on Friday, appeared to hit Cronulla playmaker Luke Metcalf after he had passed the ball.
The race to the 2021 NRL Telstra Finals Series is on and every game matters.
Replays showed the 130kg wrecking ball hit Metcalf in the upper body with a two-handed push. Eels player faces at least 1 week on the sideline with an early guilty plea.

Must have been a ghost that hit Will Smith in the mouth. NRL match review has lost the plot.
The MRC are corrupt. We need a committee to reveiw the MRCs's rulings each week. That push in the back on Will Smith was dangerous and should've been sighted.
Agree, needs a serious investigation. I was shocked the Kickau ( not sure of spelling) wasn't put on report or ten in the bin.
