Our Junior rep teams won their games today both finishing inside the Top 8 and secure at least one finals game.
Harold Matthews Parramatta Eels 44 (Travis Turnbull 2, Tui Afualo 2, Zachary Tuala, Joshua Curran, Taufa Afu, Robert Afu, John Fonua tries; Alex Seve 4 goals) bt South Western Academy of Sport 8 (Dee Loapo, Kobe Chamberlain tries)
SG Ball Parramatta Eels 38 (Anthony Layoun 2, Sione Katoa, Dane Aukafolau, Matt Ulae, Troy Dargan, Dean Matterson tries; Layoun 2, Michael Doolan 2, Simon Fonua goals) bt West Coast Pirates 8 (Corban Daniels, Sonny Kerr tries)
Some facts about both teams.
Our Harold Matthews in the 8 games that they've played they have only conceded 58 points whilst scoring a massive 282, so that averages out to be 35 points per game they've scored and only 7 points per game that they've given away. A massive effort from the entire squad, hopefully they continue their undefeated streak all the way through the finals.
Whilst the 18's dropped down after 3 consecutive losses with the additions of Denzal Tonise, Troy Dargan, and Michael Doolan they've kicked on in the last 2 games to win by massive scores to ensure they finished in the Top 8 and ended up finishing 5th no less when only 2 weeks ago they were unsure if they would even make the 8 given they were facing the high-flying Sea Eagles team. Hopefully with the momentum of the last 2 matches and the big name inclusions that were mentioned previously they will be able to beat the rest of the competition and carry-on from the Harold Matthews competition they won back in 2013.

I assume Dean is related to Ryan. What position does he play?
Yeah he is, he started the year off in the halves but this week he lined up in the centres.
