With the now announced signing of Stephen Kearney as coach, i feel excited to know we are going forward...
The real winner here will be our forwards. I feel our skill level in the forwards will really shine, guys like O'Hanlon, Ben Smith, Manakufoa, Pele, Mannah, Horo, Fui Fui Fui Fui, Poore, Webb etc etc
Their ball skill, offloads, 2nd phase play, how to hit the holes, running wide, positional play will greatly improve. Most of structure.... Stop these stupid passes that cost us game after game.
If you look at forwards that have come into Melb and out of Melb to other teams, they all improve from when they got there. And Kearney is one of the chief reasons for that.
I know a pack needs a good half/five eight to play behind, that is in place too.
I just want to see our pack become lethal, no mercy, out muscle other teams, stop being like pussy cats out there.
I reckon Kearney will flog us from the beginning in pre-season training, get us used to the style he wants.

Bellamy proved to be a great student of bennett and i believe kearney will be the next best young coach. I liked ando but i think the board did the right thing before brisbane snatched him.
Everything I've seen of O'Hanlon suggests that he'll have no problems adjusting to the more physically demanding style of first-grade.
The fact that we have him in our ranks excites me, knowing that we have an incredible talent waiting for his turn to shine.
Phil Gould is another mentoring coach. thats why he gets success..
See my point, how Kearney can change Parramatta...
I also read today, Kearney was given assurance he has running of the team, meaning hiring etc.... So he taking full control, not partial control. Again, same how Bellamy runs Melb, Bennett runs dragons etc
