Importance of the "Spine" over-estimated or not?

I look at the spine of the Warriors and sh*t myself

1) RTS

6)Foran

7)Johnson

9)Luke

Yet they can't get it working. Yet other teams with less in those positions have fared better.

Yeah it's a strange one. That spine does look very good and yet they are still struggling for consistency. Saying that though I still feel that the salary cap should be invested in the spine first and then a team around that second.

In the NRL today the most important aspect of the game is: HAVE THE REFEREES ON YOUR PAYCHECK, LIKE THE STORM & BRONCOS obviously do!

Spine is everything.
Warriors just haven't had time to gel yet plus I'm not sure Luke is in great form and hasn't been since he went to the Warriors.
The difference that a quality hooker makes is incredible. I watched Friend and Smith today. Gee we could do with some kicking and passing skills from our 9.
