So some of us have previously mentioned this and queried his coaching ability when our halves struggled to score a foil in a Claymore back alley. It seems finally the media have woken up to Joeys scam of masquerading as a halves attacking coach 😂😂. Always said he can't coach for shit.
And yet as soon as he's gone Dylbro fires up , but again some seem to think it's like the Joey coaching hangover wheras Dylbo and Mitch are only now digging out Joeys hot tip sheets and he's actually having an influence on them now long after he's driven back up the freeway.

The thing is someone as gifted as Joey probably didn't always know why he did what he did he just did it. A better coach would probably be his brother who basically taught himself through repetitions how to be a good footballer.
Agree , he's a natural talent. He'd have fuck all idea of the technicals. Hence why many " just good " and not " great " players can become excellent coaches . They had to study the game that little bit more to succeed.
Example - Luke Burt would make a far better coach than Jarryd Hayne.

Matty John's helped players such as Cronk. Bellamy asked Matty to help Cronk become halfback after Cronk arrived ss a utility with no set position so clearly has coaching skills
He has also worked at manly and helped out with the Roosters young halves at various times.
Jake Arthur was obviously a great young half in the making before Andrew John's got hold of him last year 😜
