If you could change one thing, what would that be?

For me it is, play smart. We have improved this year but still have a long way to go. Not sure if Joey has helped but if we could bring in someone like Cooper Cronk - head coach or assistant coach, whatever gets him here, then that would be the one change I would make. BA is very good in many respects but we have not played smart footy for as long as I can remember. We did not do too bad last night but when you start losing the reflex reaction is to start taking bigger risks and that often just makes matters worse. That is exactly what happened last night. A smart team would have resisted that urge and been patient, knowing that was the most likely path to victory.Paying overs for flashy outside backs will not help us play smart and that for me is the key.

  • I would give BA till the semis next year to see if he can get into week 3. If not it's on your bike son.

I wouldn't care who replaces him, the squad needs a different perspective a different voice and not someone who's main objective is keeping his job.

Im sorry but BA coaches like someone whose desperate to hold onto his job. Pretty much risk averse, straight forward honest footy without holding his players accountable and he thinks that's enough to win a comp.

He will leave the club and not get another head coaching job at any other club. That's an iron clad guarantee.

  • The team I support.

    • Haha if only we could but it's engrained in all of us from very early.

      • Yep.

There have been so many times in the past decade I wanted to change clubs and believed that the club didn't deserve my support, but you just know that if you were to start supporting a different club, the Eels would win a premiership.

  • Patience with possession.

The opposition can't win if they don' have the ball.

Haha, yeah. Sanders cost us 12-18 points. But he's still young, got loads of potential, time to work on his game and between the ears.
He seems to get frazzled when pressured. Like he's rushed for time, rather than slowing down time…"
