If We Win or Lose Today

Ok let’s see what the top 4 excuses/reasons when we win/lose today.

Win

1. Toughest preseason ever paid off

2. Panthers didn’t show up because of off field dramas

3. BA

4. Off season buys

Lose

1. Our halves need time to gel

2. It’s only round 1

3. BA

4. It was raining.

  • 3 of the last 8 Premiers have won in Round 1. It’s not the be all and end all of the season.

For me it all comes down to performance. I can handle a loss but it’s how we perform that’s crucial.

So far this round The Dogs have been stand out bad. Everyone else has been anywhere between great and needs improvement. The Dogs were so bad their season could be over already. They have nothing to be optimistic about.

    • Maybe about Parramatta?

  • I seriously think we have zero chance of winning without Junior and Terepo. If one or the other were out, we'd be in with a good chance. But both, we're screwed.

The game on the wet ground today will be won in the forwards. It'll be too slippery and greasy for the backs to perform, plus there will be no space created by the forwards anyway.
