If we lose peats, how will you react?

I'm not too up to date with the whole situation, but I believe that Peats is gone.If we lose peats the club is fucking stupid. I seen people posting stats & saying he wouldn't be a big loss but you're completely wrong & you're a moron. It's not all about the stats, peats is the core of the team. He gets along with all of the boys & all of the boys really like him. In my opinion he's a future captain of the club & he will go on to play origin. He's a leader & he's tough as nails. He cannot be replaced. I don't believe any other hooker in the Comp could be as important to this team as he is.What are our chances of losing him? I don't know if I can support a team that's going to throw away an awesome player & person like peats to try and win 12 out of 15 games.

  • I will go ape shit and just smash everything in site...........then sit down and relax watching the next game.
  • Norman, Foz, Jennings and Scott are way ahead of Peats. 2 years ago Peats was second to Hayne. Things have changed.
    • Hope Norman and Foran sign long term deals

And we add some talent to 2017 roster
  • I would not say he is the core at all. We play just as good when he is injured. I don't want to see him go but emotions a side he is the best option.
  • I will sit back and hope we can spend his coin, idg coin and watmough coin next year to upgrade Corey and sign another hooker with Kaysa as his back up

We can also sign an up and coming prop to replace junior
    • Hope Toutai Kelly Obrien and either Kelly/Nelson go so we can really recruit

Segeyaro Klemmer Tagatese Lewis would be my list

Personally after 61 YEARS of supporting the Eels I really don't think I give a Flying Fig about this bunch of wankas anymore.

Farking sick and tired of the sh1t, crap, infighting, greed and everything else this club has come to represent.

Once upon a time long long ago this was a club that one could be proud of - even when we got flogged and had NO ONE of note in our roster.

They played as hard as they knew how - they had pride in the jersey and tried their best for the fans.

This is not just about screwing Peats - it is the club screwing the supporters and members year in, year out - AND gutless whimps left in control who are ONLY concerned about what they can get from the club for themselves.

Fitzgerald started out very well but then wanted it all for himself - Spags and Co only ever wanted it all for themselves and then we get a bumbling incompetent bunch who have driven the final nail into the coffin.

Add in egotistical NRL head honchos (several) and the club, game and everything associated with it has turned as ripe as last weeks prawns left in the sun.

I would tell the NRL and Eels management to go shove it where the sun don't shine - but they would obviously enjoy that sort of activity too much.

61 YEARS - gone just like that

    FARK ALL OF IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Col, I am almost at the same stage after 50 years as a fan and member.

I will probably support Parra still (if even covertly) but the NRL can get a woolly bull up it. Whilst the business spastics running our club will never get my $$ until I see a vast improvement.

    • Col you finished?
Right, talk to you after Fridays game. Lol
    • Shots fired !! Cols had a blow out lol

"Damn it HKF, I was gonna ask where did Didly Squat come from to look them up.
Next you'll say Hock isn't coming."

"I am not too disheartened by that. If we got him then great but he is 29, having a few injuries and though a really good Winger he is an average Centre. I would rather Murray Taulagi."

"Spot on, other clubs are starting to announce signings but we have signed didly squat,  no didly is not a winger."
