Pete this whole play wenty players in first grade is freaking ridiculous, your not the only one to say it, numerous are saying it, not only are there rules that make it impossible, its just a really unthought out idea that makes zero sense to the betterment of our club, standing down all our 1st grade players to prove a point will be great for the club and its fans its to ridiculous to even seriously contemplate.
Hurting the club and trying to challenge the NRL over this isnt a good idea, not only will it be totally fruitless but its shooting ourselves in the foot.
The NRL wanted to let us off with a fine, WE SHOVED IT IN THEIR FACE with our factions, its all our fault.
Agree Snake. Secondly, and I'm not an expert on the Salary Cap system, but wouldn't we be breaching our second tier cap by playing lots of players outside our top 26? More fines and more potential for loss of points again next year?
Sending kids in to get smashed up by by season pro's and putting careers back 3 years is not the answer.
*break the cap again, for 2017
*stunt the development of our juniors
*piss off our regular first graders who want to play as not playing drops their worth and ability to play rep footy
*piss of fans who want to watch competitive matches
Mate most of the leakers are factions of our club.
And there is a myth doing the rounds that the NRL can and should only remove points if we are over this year, thats ridiculous too, or every club would be off scott free if as soon as they get into a new year.
