If the season goes bad, does the injury save BA?

It is a simple question I want to know, I don't want to hear people say it's another sacking blog, as it isn't. This is asking does Moses being injured and we lose 3-4 games with JA and end our season poorly, does that give BA an excuse to stay in 2023?

Before Penrith and Moses we were adament he was gone, but now I think this can be an excuse for him, to be fair it could be an unknown as if Moses player we may have won 3-4 games, without him we might too, if we were going to win 3-4 games to finish with Moses and we get to week 2 or 3 then he more likely survives anyway. But yeah BA might counting his lucky stars or it was irrelevant as he was safe regardless or is gone regardless.

Dont hate me as I believe this is a different topic to "sack BA" but how he survives

what does everyone think

  • No, the only excuse  to stay is if the team perform like they did in the games against Penrith - Storm - Roosters - Canberra - Manly - Penrith first half.

That means heading into the finals with steam up and making it past week 2 of the semis looking good. Thats it for me.

Losses and whimping into the 8 falling out backwards no matter what reason is not good enough. He has had 19 years teaching young Jake, he has chosen him as next up. Its all on BA.

  • The only thing that could save BA is a premiership.

  • No.

    Simple: No GF, no BA.

  • Well it shouldn't but no doubt it does.

I mean there's been zero up until this point that says he should remain.

  • It shouldn't because we should be in a better position than what we are, those 4 points we didn't get by losing to two teams that were coming last when we played them, tigers and dogs, would have us sitting safely in the top 8. I can cop the other losses but not those two.

    • Yep but so many have disregarded those losses 🤷‍♀️

  • Just another sack BA blog.

    • Is it John? Sure about that? If anything it is the opposite in the sense of does it save him not get him fired? Did you read the blog at all John?

  • No way! Brad Arthur needs to go ASAP regardless of how this year goes! Can you seriously imagine another 2 years of this crap

    • The board if they had any thinking of sacking him would have sympathy with Moses being out. BA would say that "Hey i didn't have my Halfback for last 4 games out of 5, so not on me that we lost"
