We can absolutely make the 8 - we're only 2 winds out of it!
During the Origin period, we will be comparatively stronger than some of our opponents and if we win most, if not all of our games over the next 7 weeks or so, we are suddenly one of the front runners.
No doubt we have the personnel to do it, but the team needs to believe. We are a confidence side, and back in 2009, on the back of Hayne's brilliance, even players like Robson and Mortimer looked like world beaters.
We just need to get on a bit of a roll and, if that happens, we can be a juggernaut of a side.

The question was, "Can we make the 8". The answer to that question, both mathematically and practically, is yes.
Whether we do or not is another question. Do I think we will? Personally, no, because the team isn't playing well enough at the moment, but things can change...
I agree mate, I was only having a bit of a chuckle at our current defence record re my reference to Marshmallow.
Well... if the nrl allows us to run on the field tonight...then at least we are a chance of 2 points...or then again maybe not...
