Brad Tighe is another - great finisher, plenty of toe. Big fan of his. Has played both wing and centre in the top grade.
Given the potential quality of the young backs coming through the ranks, I think someone like a Colin Best (who I think is off contract) could be bought for a reasonable price. He'll want to win a comp so I think he would sign with the Eels for a reasonable price, and he can cover wing, centre and fullback at a pinch, and also provide some experience.
I agree with 1Eyed in that we also need a prop. I like the look of what I've seen so far this year from Matt Bell from the Panthers, but I presume they would have him locked up. I think we need a prop around the age of 25-26 - not at their peak yet, but physically almost there. I think this goes to show just how good Tim Mannah is playing at the moment. It will be interesting to see how many quality minutes we can get out of Mannah each game next year. I think we may see Mannah and Poore start next year, with Fui off the bench with whoever fills this 4th prop position. There is something in the water down there at Figtree - the Dragons have a production line of big boppers. Dan Hunt goes well, and Matt Prior covers both centre and prop.
