    • Summed it up perfectly. I am sure deep down everyone wants him back, but I think everyone understands the problems he brings with him. Attitude, media circu, and his ego is something we don't need.
    • roflllll damn sandow
  • How would him coming back impact the team? Apart than 2009, we're looking much better without him than we were with him.
  • well 500k would mean that we could put him down to wenty if he does not train well or has a poor attitude in games as we would have suitable replacement who would be estatic just to play so hayne would have to work for a spot in the 17 each week that what i feel signing him on 500k means but i could be wrong but who is gonna pay more

  • If he accepts coming back for $500k and to play wing
    ...regarding attitude...
That would start things off on the right foot.
  • ffs, another one?
  • No. The guy is a dickhead and we really should have a NO DICKHEAD policy going forward.

    Ask yourself these questions.

    1. Would Melbourne, The Roosters, The Cowboys or the Broncos want this guy? Answer: No

    2. Who wanted him when he came back from living his dream? Answer: Only the NRL hierarchy, no current coaches were interested in him.

So why do we want him.

We are going along just fine without him. Thanks

    • 1. We need to replace Semi
      2. Hayne still has talent
      3. Look at the terms - $500k to play wing. That goes a long way to setting the correct framework so we get the talent but not the dickhead
  • It's win-win
The only thing that can save Hayne's brand is coming back to the Eels and proving he is not a Prima Donna/ princess but happy to do what ever he has to for the team to win a premiership

He could partially salvage his brand by winning a premiership elsewhere but only partially - and not many premiership contenders would risk him or need him.
    • I used to say yes but not anymore . Wish it had been a diff outcome with Jarryd but he has become such a parody, such damaged goods I can't see his benefit anymore to us ( of course we would benefit him).
