Such a shame eh? It's scary to think what Hayne could have been. Twice voted best player of the year. At his best it's hard to think of anyone who was/is as fast, powerful, skilful and just pure magical. In my lifetime I don't think I've seen better. You can watch his highlights on loop all day long.
It all went to his head. And like most millennials he wanted more and thought he was entitled to it. Going to play NFL was a dream but he was completely naive to think he can just turn up and 'make it' when others have been eating and breathing it all their lives. That's was the end of him - he was never the same
Yep, bit off more than he could chew with the move to the US and it ruined his NRL career!
