If Foran Joins The Eels...

The other half has again prompted another blog.She just commented that should Foran still commit to Parra he will instantly become her favourite player. In a rare moment I find myself agreeing with her.I can predict others instantly saying that he'd be a fool.Who here would not blame him for changing his mind? Certainly I wouldn't blame him.Similarly, who here would put him at the top of their favourite player list should he affirm his commitment?Count me in.

    Seriously Sixties, you sound so solemn. It's very unlike you mate. It wasn't long ago at all when it was a done deal and everything was looking good. Now it's as if we're an outside chance of getting our man. It's not over. I can so imagine BA giving an almighty spray to Sharp and DA and everyone else, telling them to do whatever it takes to get Foran here. 

    In answer to your question, it wouldn't take long at all for him to become my favourite player.

    What about the 'it's not about the money 'crap, clearly it is. I hope the club has a deadline on this and it's soon. This will do my head in hearing about this for another how many weeks. Forans silence is deafening, the longer it takes to hear from him the more likely he's gone.

      Keeping quiet is the classiest thing he can do right now. No matter how honourable you are, if someone employed you and then changed the terms of your employment you'd have cause to hesitate. I have hope more than confidence at this stage.

      They had no choice but to change the terms sixties ,the NRL wouldnt register the old contract. I'm not sure where they go to from here.
