If BA was to go this week

It will never happen but the board should sack BA immediately and bring in an interim coach. There are enough rounds left in the season on top of parra being pretty well guaranteed a top 8 spot to change up the game plan with a Fresh coaching style and still have a chance at salvaging the season. I doubt it will result in a premiership but it certainly can't get any worse than leaving BA in with his effort on effort game plan and the inability to see when a player is not nrl standard.

I'd be bringing in penisini for opacic and fergo for duster. Push Brown to the centres and will Smith into 5/8. Either waqa or sivo to be dropped and the other to the wing. Yes it's mass changes and will be disruptive but let's me honest it can't get a whole lot worse than last night's performance and we have nothing to lose at this point.

  • Correct, timec to throw caution to the wind. But that won't happen. Maybe one or 2 subtle changes. Same as 2020 bar forced changes. We would have close to the WORST coaching staff in the NRL.

    • I  don't think we are close, I think we win that quite easily Graham

  • I lmight be in the minority here, but why is the hate so severe for Blake? The last month he's been one of the few players who has looked dangerous with ball in hand? Most of the squad look pedestrian at best but Blake actually looks like breaking the line!

    • Last 2 weeks his increased his energy, but he is not a footballer, every time he gets the ball he steps outside and then runs in, killing the play. When you're playing left centre you are supposed to do the opposite, draw the wing defense and pass to your winger.

      • He's always used that left foot step to come back in and away from his winger, very predictable but the last few weeks he's been one of the few who look like doing anything. I would be hating and dropping a few others before I got  to Blake jusr for the fact he's bringing energy where most aren't!

      • Spot on - he doesn't understand the way attacking shape works. He comes in when he should be going out with the pass. He actually did the right thing last week against the roosters and beat his opposite on the outside  but Sivo was so surprised that he wasn't in position to receive the pass. And Sivo knows  how to sniff out a try.

didn't he come over from Perth or something? I bet he didn't even grow up playing the game. Footy speed and nous are different things to athleticism. He's an athlete not a footy player.

    • He never passes for reason itself I would play him on the wing

Backline for the rest of the season should

      1. gutherson

      2. w blake

      3. Niukore

      4. D Brown

      5. sivo

      6. Cartwright / smith depends on Reed's injury

      7. Moses
