I will stop the Hayne train says Idris

BOASTING 114kg of pure whacking power, Bulldogs wrecking machine Jamal Idris has vowed to put an end to Jarryd Hayne's stunning attacking form tonight when two of the game's brightest stars collide at ANZ Stadium.

Once a timid centre who was unsure of his power and speed, Idris is now a forward hellbent on destruction.

And it is the Hayne train he has in his sights.

"I'll put one on him if I get the opportunity," Idris said.

  • Hayne must be worried. *rolls eyes*
  • Somebody needs to tell Idris he'll need to catch him before he can hit him
    • Idris is a NSW one hit wonder, Hayne man of the series last year.
  • dunno if you could ever have described Idris as timid.
  • Jamal should be more worried about getting smashed by Tahu.. Again.... Idris's defence is very poor. All he has is his hair. Thats what has made him who he is.
  • whats he going to do when Hayne is carving up, and he is sitting on the bench?
  • I think this is Mortimers oppurtunity to have a big game.

I'd be running alot of traffic at big Jamal, there is no doubt that he has the potential to monster our forwards however I doubt he has the fitness to do it for a considerable amount of time. Get him tired, then have Morts work his inside balls onto the likes of KK and Hayne or even Morts himself sniffing around the ruck off the back of second man play.

We can and should exploit Idris.
    • Totally agree with this.
    • Idris has improved his fitness recently like crazy. He gets like 12 or something for his beep test and he can play in the 2nd row for almost the entire game.
  • Let em try and stop the Hayne Train, it's Fui they should be more worried about.

If they can't stop Fui going forward, then Haynesy will cut them to ribbons.
