BA keeps saying that we're not winning because of poor completions and poor discipline. These are fair points but in reality our season was decided last November when BA settled on the top 30 that we have. He was a fool to believe that what worked last year would work this year. I want to hear him say that he made a terrible error in judgement when he thought that a small mobile forward pack would be sufficient to win most games.
I want to hear him say that it was a mistake to place too much faith in an aging team because he thought that our experience would enable us to grind out tough victories based on commitment and defence.
I want to hear him say that he was wrong to persist with underperforming players and that he waited too long to address our underlying problem of poor on field leadership.
And I want to hear him say that he was wrong when he thought he wouldn't need knowledgeable and talented assistant coaches after we lost our wrestling and 1st assistant coach at the end of last year.
Will BA admit that he got it wrong? I somehow doubt it, and that is why he is digging his own grave and he has no one to blame but himself.
P.S. If you think our predicament is all down to BA (most of it is no doubt), spare a thought for Bernie and Mad Max who have both made huge mistakes and also deserve harsh criticism. Even though BA has destroyed our season based on decisions he made at the beginning of the pre-season, he is still in a position to save himself IF he assembles a good team for next year. It's Bernie and Max, however, who I fear will mire this club in mediocrity and prevent it from becoming the professional powerhouse that it should be.

The problem is they need to play faster and offload more often like Terapo did tonigh. This makes the other teams tired. Quite simply our forwards constantly only offload after they hit the line. They need to work in pairs and mix it up. if you are the smallest team you also need to be the fittest.
Brads has an IQ of a peanut, i wouldnt be expecting much.
He wont, hes too proud and stubborn.
He thinks hes doing the right things cause they worked before. Problem is the games evolved since 2017 and Brads still stuck there. Also think he maybe stale and the players arent digging in for him. 5 years at one club can do that to you. For the benefit of his career and the clubs well being, he needs to step aside at this years completion. Just my thoughts.
BAs never mentioned leadership or coaching, he uses discipline talk as a shield for the real root causes of our issues, Brads full of shit and too arrogant to think its him.
Agree ! We are still doing the same old out the back pass ... easy to read structured plays that cost Manly the Comp against the Roosters ! .... We never had a dominant pack back in the 80's but we had two skilled composed halves ! ... and a couple of others that went o.k !
