As the blog title says I have joined the hugely popular sports website The Roar. I saw this as a further step towards further building my writing skills. The Roar also enables me to get my name out into a wider market than I have on here.
I will remain on this site and my articles on The Roar will have little impact on what I write on here. I'm using The Roar to enhance my versatility so that I can write articles covering a range of sports. I have already been in discussion with their cycling Editor and have agreed to cover the final week of the Tour de France as I cycle in the Alpes.
This will be a unique opportunity to try and further boost my writing profile as well as build my confidence as a writer. The Roar is a huge website that reaches a massive audience. I will however, limit the amount of Rugby League content I write on there as I still think this site is more suited to open and relatively moderator free debate.
I use the same username on The Roar as I do on here so if any of you want to see some of the articles I post up there you know which name to look for.

Well done super, but dont worry about trying to limit the RL talk over there, you havnt talked about it all year, at least now you will have a place to talk soccer and NFL at, im sure you will turn out to be a great contributer over there congratulations, but after all Phil has done for you im a bit disappointed your jumping ship so soon, but thats life i suppose, youve done a great job while you have been here and you will be surely missed mate.
cheers
I'm not leaving this site. I will be using The Roar to further build my writing profile and it will mean very little blogs on here about soccer and the like as I now have an avenue to post those articles.
The Rah is a joke of a site, if you are a RL fan on there you don't have a hope. RL cops it deluxe on there from Yawnion and Fumbleball fans i gave up trying on there ages ago. The only posts i got through were on the cricket forum.
I worked that out pretty quickly myself. They're still arguing over Hayne and whether he should play fullback or 5/8. There are moronic Queenslanders that claim he's a nobody and couldn't care less where he plays. That just shows how dumb Queenslanders are. I go on there for the cricket and cycling articles. They have live running blogs for nearly everything; boxing, cricket, rugby league, soccer.
Good work Super! So can we look forward to reading an article from a decent writer only to read something very similar you have written the next day or a few hours later as what happens on this site?.........lol...........
Honestly who cares?
HAHA lol
