I only want to know five things...

1. Did any current directors or staff know about any cash payments, fictitious contracts for services/goods or dodgy TPAs? I don't care if those acts were done by other people - did the current board or staff know about it or discover it had occurred in the past?

2. If yes, did they report that to the NRL as per their obligations under the NRL Code of Conduct?

3. What was the directors/staff response to the Ed Farish email raising concerns about questionable TPAs? Were Farish's claims investigated?

4. Why we didn't we use the moratorium provision in the Code of Conduct when Mr Seward was let go? His confidentiality agreements claimed he was let go because some of the deals he did may have amounted to breaches of the salary cap. If we were worried enough to sack him surely we were pretty bloody worried.

5. Did we tell Ian Schubert about the Ed Farish email and what was Shubert's response?

Dear board members, the floor is all yours.

I'd appreciate a response.

  • I want to know WHERE IS THIS WEEK'S TEAM LIST?

    • we arnt playing this week

  • 1. Yes

    2. No

    3. Ignored and No.

    4. Scott was used as a fall guy, they thought if they sacked him and put a confidentiality clause on him they would be safe.

    5. dont know but we were paying ian, when you pay somebody to do something they are on your side.

  • 1) According to the NRL - yes

    2) According to the board - yes

    3) I will address this @ 5.

    4) Interesting question. Sewer obviously stuffed up in many areas. - HOWEVER - the club did waive his confidentiality agreement for him to talk with the NRL, whereas Andrew Gee told them after his resignation "I am no longer part of the NRL so stuff off" which immediately terminated any further inquiry into the Broncos. One wonders why board at Parramatta didn't apply the same tactic, but instead waived Sewer's agreement to allow him to talk to the NRL.

Now given the actions of the Parra board it behooves (thanks Bourbs for this word) us to ask, did the board actually think there was nothing wrong?

    5) Schubert evidently went through the information at his disposal and that is why we originally got the all clear on our cap for 2016. Then Schubert went a little further and reported there were some very strange anomalies going back several years that he could NOT fathom and advised the board to call in the NRL to fully investigate PREVIOUS years.

    Then the fun started.

    6)

“We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.”

Which in fact is the sum result of this 28 ring circus.
