i miss the days.......

i miss the days when i use to wake up everymorning and get the local newspaper to read the latest parramatta eels news instead geting up early lookin through the net,

i miss the days when i useto go to school and talk to my friends about rugby leauge instead of them talking to me about afl

i miss the days when they had all the leauge live on tv instead of having to wait till 12 at nite to watch the leauge

people i think i just miss sydney but im stuk here in melbourne

I miss the days when you used to get to Parra Stadium at 11am. Take your seat and watch all 3 grades. Those were the days. U/21's and Reserve grade used to be on fire then watch the not very good first grade side... hahah

I agree with all these sentiments.. I used to go to Parra stadium (when it was just built) and watch the 2nd half of the 21's and then settle in for the afternoon with the reserve grade and first grade.. Back in the days when the hill was actually a hill.

I too ended up getting sick of Sydney (grew up in Greystanes). I've now settle in Brisbane after a few stints overseas.. At least I get the footy here - must be tough for you blokes down south..

I used to live in Albury which gets Melbourne tv even though its on the right side of the border. I used to drive 6 hours to each home game.
