Sad, I know. But these top 6 moments don't come often for us. I sit here, look at the ladder, analysis the crap out of it, then I look at our upcoming games and try forsee the future. I dare to dream. Step bloody repeat every night.
Am I the only sad f**k?

I was hoping you'd be predicting a top 2 percent finish.
I am as relaxed as I've been for a while when it comes to the footy. Maybe that's the problem.
Eels fans can never relax.
Yes, I’ve sent a screenshot of the ladder before our game on Sunday and after, to a Tigers supporting mate. They slipped from 7th to 11th and we went from 8th to 6th.
How sweet it is.
Unfortunately it doesn’t matter where we finish stats tell us that teams that have conceded 50+ points in a single game during the season have never won the premiership in that year.
Going by this Parra & Tigers statically can’t win. Having said that they are on the improve and let’s hope this monument continues for the rest of the year and we make it deep into the finals.
Statistics are sometimes broken . Ignore the 50 points loss . If eels are good enough they will win. https://www.nrl.com/news/2013/10/10/how-roosters-defied-the-stats-t...
I know I've been accused of being too negative at times but come on Oompi. We're 6th! Lighten up. Ride the wave.
Screw statistics. The game is constantly evolving and so do stats.
Every season I have bets with the sister-in-law (Cowgirls), my best mate (Tigpies) and a Kiwi work buddy (Once Warriors) on who finishes higher on the ladder.
Fingers crossed the liquor cabinet will be stocked for Xmas.
1000 % improvement from last year. But I still don't see us winning the comp this year. Maybe a semifinal exit.
The NRL Ladder is a good news bad new story.
The Eels sit 6th. YAY!!!
The Eels have the 3rd best attack. YAY!!
The Eels have the 5th worst defence. BOO!!!
