I'll say it again....

I like Gutherson but when you have a gun like Burreta who is bulldozing everything in his way in defense and attack in NSW cup I'd love to see what he could do for us. Gutherson some time to develop some more, he tries hard but has mistakes and gets rag dolled. Buretta will give us as big an attacking winger threat as Semi on the left, give the kid a go!Great win tonight.

  • I agree, but how well is buretta under the high ball or qhen their is pressure?
  • would like to see it, but we both know this ain't gonna happen. Gutho was great tonight, he won't be dropped unless he has two diabolical games in a row. Doesn't find the try line as much as Faraimo would though.

  • Sorry round 1 and 2 I would have agreed but I thought guttho was brilliant tonight and pretty much flawless. They pummelled him avoiding semi and he delivered every single time.
  • Gutho can follow the gameplan and the defence has been good since round 1. Faraimo, yes strong ball runner, but prone to a drop ball when taking a hit up. He is no more safe under the high ball than Gutho. And a worse defender. Gutho may make mistakes but he can read the play well, bit of confidence and he'll keep developing
  • Guth ate up everything Manly threw at him in the air - very safe. He's also building nicely after a season ending injury.

Not a well thought out blog mate.
    • Agree Chief, had his best game for us so far. Was in everything and doesn't mind doing the dirty work. Will get better but reads play well, some of his 1 on 1 tackles when shoots out of the line are brilliant.

  • I remember last season Faraimo was very reliable and great under pressure, but a lot shorter than Gutho, so this may work against him under the high ball. Faraimo is a better attacking player though, as is Toutai. Both have scored bustling tries through many defenders that Gutho couldn't. While Toutai is erratic, Faraimo wouldn't let us down.

  • Gutherson brings more to the table - passing, kicking, goal kicking, can play fullback

  • I agree with this blog BUT you cant drop gutho after a performance like tonight
  • Gutherson only made one mistake tonight which was very early in the game and after that he was very good.  There is merit with Faraimo but he has been suspect with the cross kick before in first grade.  I think Faraimo's main weakness is lack of speed in the top grade.  If you think Gutherson gets rag dolled imagine how French would go on the wing.

"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
