Yep, another loss.

I will play devil's advocate and say all is not lost for the eels. Yes we lost but I thought we played some good footy and generally put up a decent showing. BA is doing as good as he can with what we have. Our 7 is simply not NRL standard week in, week out. Sorry Chrissy but the organisation is...and has never been there.

I thought our forwards did well and Watmough actually had a very decent game apart from one big missed tackle. He was decent.

Our fringe defence is a worry but apart from that I thought we did ok?

Mau isn't getting good ball and against the broncos, he got hospital passes and shite offloads all night. Again tonight.

Toughen up eels supporters, stay strong, we will get better and have an at least decent year.

The couple of signings we have for next year will definitely help in areas we are lacking in and there is another very decent signing to come.

Chin up eels supporters and stay strong!!!

I agree with you grunta. Pretty frustrating how Sutton just put his whistle in his pocket at the 45 minute mark.

I hate stop start footy but allowing a team to get away with blatant forward passes when you can clearly hear the touchy screaming forward is bloody frustrating. I think a return of Junior Paulo from the bench and Moeroa back into the squad and we will look a lot better.

  Yes, how many forward passes did the storm do late in the game? In one set there were 3 - 4 in a row.

x2. Our ball control cost us. We had barely any attacking sets in the 2nd half due to this. Storm punish poor play. The first half we were lucky to stay in it. Taka is struggling out wide. Semi was a good addition. Wicks awesome

How can you say brad Arthur is doing as good as he can with what we have when we have, Pauli, Tep, Folau etc all playing reserve grade? C'mon now. I like brad Arthur, but the more I watch this team, the more my patience with brad is wearing thin!

  Our two bookends have been injured / suspended most of this season. Throw in a 7 who is at best elusive and BA is shot.

Anyone who wants Chrissy to resign has no idea what's needed from your dominant half. Cannot control a game to save himself. No game awareness. The side as a whole has a number of problems. These can be papered over with a dominant half who can control a games tempo. You need a quality kicking game to do this , short and long and Chrissy just doesn't have it. Over the span of his contract take out the flashes of brilliance how many games has Sandow controlled. You could count on one hand.Not good enough if your expecting a premiership. Isn't that what we're are striving for. Or are we happy for mediocrity and only wish to compete. Bugger that I want to win a comp and Chrissy can't deliver.

  I looked at the blogs on the home page and typically they were all bagging BA and negative in general.

  We need to trial a different half. Matterson for mine regardless of form. At least he is big and can defend.
