I know this is looking too far ahead but can anyone provide guidance on potential week 2 dates should we lose to storm?

Trying to plan around some very big family  commitments and events that fall during finals week 2.

Should we lose to storm and get the home final (which I will find a way not to miss), does anyone know anything yet that would suggest if it would be the Friday or Saturday?

I know the NRL wont announce it and it will end up coming down to who we verse. But if we lose to storm its very probable we play sharks. Because their game is the sunday, is it likely then that the NRL would give them the extra day rest and our final would be Saturday?

    Hard to say. If Broncos lose, they would also host, so might get the Friday game vs Manly/Penrith. If Roosters lose, they would host Manly/Penrith and that might be a Saturday and us Friday? If the favourites win, I'd hazard a guess that Broncos play Friday against a Sydney team in Manly or Penrith, and we play Sharks/Cows on the Saturday. I know that probably doesn't help much

      as 4th team we play highest ranked winner.   which means if cows did cause upset we verse manly/penrith yeh?

      No, we play 5th or 8th regardless.

      Genio, I think that was the case in the old McIntyre system which the NRL did away with some years ago. Now the loser of 1v4 gets home game against winner of 5v8 in the second week, and the loser of 2v3 gets home game against winner of 6v7

      Going by last season 1 v 4.
      4 lost then played the next Friday night.
      They won that game and next game was Friday night again.

      Yeh but sharks / cowboys can't play Sunday arvo then back up Friday when they can easily schedule for Saturday and have broncos/roosters Friday night again

    We would play sharks vs cowboys and seein they play Sunday u would think it be on Saturday night
