Foran is a fantastic player, but I hope he doesn’t come to Parra and here’s why
- Foran had a clause about political conflict, our club saw it as a challenge “oh you worried about politically instability Foz, well we’ll show you some instability watch this!”
- Parra have to pay him out a mill into an already blown cap
- We will be on minus points
- NRL will be forced to get involved
- DA and Sharpie will deny everything, most likely taking it to court
- A court will investigate things properly and this whole bloody mess we call a club will unravel.
Hopefully all this will finally lead to the end of our ridiculous cycle of elections every single year (mid season just prior to player contract lodging mind you) and to the end of our charter and the club can then be privatized under Bill Moss
Again here’s why
- The problems we have is management and the club charter. Having Foz here will not fix that. Sure we will have a great player, but our board will find a way to stuff things up.
- Moss dang well loves the Eels and has tried to help twice already
- Moss is crazy rich. He is extremely talent, worked his way up. He got rich doing commodities trading… players are commodities
- Moss helped allot other people get seriously rich, business people, people that could get whoppa a Roosters sized TPA quicker then you could say Nick Polotis
People say the club is public, I say it’s a corrupt incompetent old boys club run by old players and a few insiders that just embarrasses us fans year after painful year. How else could you explain DA getting sacked, then coming back promoted? Apparently a coach so crap he is sacked is then the head of football.
People like Sharpie say they love they love the club and have its best interest at heart. So for all those Sharpie supports answer these three questions honestly:
- Who could manage a cap better, Moss or Sharp ?
- Who could organise TPA’s better Moss or Sharp ?
- Who could run a business better Moss or Sharp ?
If DA and Sharpie love this club they would want it to succeed, surely they are not putting personal pride above the eels success? They should right now be organising a Moss hand over whilst typing up their resignations. Then they should join the rest of us cheering the Eels on from the Stands.

Agree we need something to end the cycle of ridiculous and de-stabilising elections. But the NRL-mandated governance review might have something to say about that....
I'd rather Keiran Foran come to the club, he's the type of player the team needs. As fans, let's keep support for our team, squad and recruitment separated from the political and governance issues.
yeah good point. That would be the ideal, getting Foz and fixing the board.... I dont know if thats too much to hope for though.
After spoons or almost spoons for the past 4 our so years. Coaches turning over every year. I thought we'd hit bottom and where on the way up... oh well
