I hereby resign as a fan of the Parramatta Eels.

I've stood strong for 30 years but I can take no more.

There could be no club that has so much bad luck and drama. There is clearly a supernatural curse that can only be fixed by the Long Island Medium or somebody with super skills. I don't need this level of bad luck in my life

I hereby am a fan of any team that isn't Brisbane, Manly, Melbourne, Dragons, Penrith, Bulldogs or Cronulla.

Farewell all it has been fun.

    You can take more. You're choosing not to. This is footy we're talking about. Not cancer, not war, not poverty, you'll survive, we all will. How are you going to feel when we have success down the track? "If only I'd stuck solid", "must be good to be an Eels fan right now"....blue and gold never fold. EVER.

    Disappointing to hear, but i can't blame anyone hopping off this shit heap after the yeah we have had.

    I'll never give up on the team, but can't blame anyone for doing so especially someone who has followed the club for 30 years.

    16 year fan and 5 year member for me. Yes all the offield stuff sucks but we are an enjoyable team to watch this year at least. The least 5 years we have been terrible on and off the park.

    Mate if you got through the 90's, you'll get through this little episode. 

    We're all hurting, unfortunately you can't just resign, being a fan is a life time contract. Only death can part you with the Eels.

    I was brain washed since birth, forced to accompany my old man to Cumberland and various other grounds most weekends. Makes me a 45 year fan. No excuses for giving in. Unacceptable.
