With Peats gone (assuming its done) and with just how well Cameron King has been playing for Wenty I am going to suggest BA feels we have enough ammo with DeGois/Prtichard/King. I think we will continue to play with 2 hookers and there is in fact NO plan for anyone else.
Lets say Peats IS in fact on 400-450k. Degois I am thinking is on 150 as is Pritchard. I think King is looking to prove himself into a similar salary. I think its a simple numbers game and we don't have anyone else coming.
From what I am told King has really been outstanding for Wenty (correct me if wrong) and will push his way at the expense of Degois or Pritchard.
I hate seeing Peats leave I think he is a big team personality but if he is on similar numbers to say all 3 others maybe BA sees it at the difference of us finding a good Junior replacement next year or not.
Thoughts?

I have MASSIVE concerns about how this is looking for 2017 and beyond. The NRL have had several opportunities to make a statement yet help Parra be competitive. From what I've seen, they seem to have no interest, which is a shame because as can be seen from the first rounds of 2016, a strong performing Eels is a big win for the NRL. My concern is, that the sanctions imposed, will significantly weaken the Eels recruitment and retention, to such a point, that it will be years before we are as strong as we are now. Now I know we cheated and deserve punishment, but the bigger picture is just as important. I am sick of commentators talking about what a powerhouse we SHOULD be because (as well as a dysfunctional board) we are being bent over royally.
In saying all of this, we are now just fans similar to Titans, Tigers, Knights and Dragons. I think we will end up back where we were two years ago. That's if the NRL have its way.
What we should be complaining about is having a Board that threw spanners into BA's recruitment and retention plans.
Cant he work the leagues club bar for a year on $350k?
de gois is of contract at the end of this year, with our massive depth in hookers, also salary cap pressure and considering he will be 33 next year i highly doubt he will be at parra next year. i also think its necessary for him to go so we can really develop kaysa into a consistent first grader.
If Kaysa Pritchard needs IDG gone to get a run, it’s obviously saying IDG is more highly rated. Why would we get rid of a superior product to give an inferior one a go?
I rate IDG as one of the really, really good hookers in the comp.
