The Whole side is having a dig. They seem to be responding to whatever BA has instilled this off season.
Led by Gutho they look like a different side this year. Gutho looks a different player.
Fergo what a buy - best since Fui Fui.
Lane looks the goods out wide and always looks dangerous. The rest of the forwards are also ripping and tearing with efforts in both defence and attack.
Mahoney is keeping the defence guessing - will he run, will he pass or will he kick? This is what we’ve needed from a 9 since forever.
Brown has composure and looks like he has plenty of time - like all the best players do. And what about that step to setup the last try, stunning.
Sivo dropped a few today but I like his involvement and keenness to do the hard yards. I’m sure once he scores his first it will be a case of ‘Semi Who?’
Dare I say it, even Mannah has lifted and has even discovered an offload FFS.
I reckon this side will push the roosters all the way next week and may even pull off the upset. Fingers and toes crossed.
Its only round 2 but I’ve seen enough to suggest we will be there come September. With talent to come back into the side (Terepo, Jennings and Brown) I’m harder than a virgin on his honeymoon.
Strap yourselves in ladies and gentlemen, it’s going to be a great ride.
Yeeeeehahh.....

Frank The Tank, Agree mate. We look a different team. One with courage and soul. It's a great feeling.
I also wonder: What does this mean for Arthur's future here?
I actually expect us to win, the Chooks are struggling a bit. They are missing Fergo a lot more than I suspect they thought they would, they have struggled getting their sets started much in the same way we did last year.
Souths handled them comfortably and Manly pushed them despite being outgunned on paper.
It might be the unicorn juice talking, but I actually believe we’re gonna win.
"More positive this year I didn't too much care for the score but I can see more connection defensively I can see inside pressure.I can see a lower error count I can see more physicality from our middles with and without the ball.I can also see with…"
"I can recall some time ago an entire blog dedicated to saying how shit Russell is and that he isn't nrl standard. Look at him now, I said the exact same thing after he signed with Perth that he is the one player who would have been nice to hang on…"
"Russell saved Tago twice in try scoring situations against us. One was when Tago was bumped off effecting a tackle close to the line and Russell came in and stopped a certain try. The other was when the ball was grubbered into the in goal and Tago…"

Ok
Why the transcript line thru?
But yes it was a composed game by our boys
Yeah I did it on my iPhone by the time I realised I had done it it was too late to change
+28 - yep, the dreaded Top of the Ladder position.
I can honestly say I did not expect a result like this.
Dogs have major problems as 4(?) or was it 5(?) kicks at goal were from directly in front.
Nuikore was quiet and had more than his fair share of handling errors, same for Sivo.
I am far from excited but enjoy winning again.
Next week will be a good measure for where we are at imo.
I’m loving being an Eel fan ATM.

Haha Frank you big unicorn.
Next week will be the acid test. I don't expect to win but I'd like to see the Eels push the Chooks for the entire game.
I'm happy for the moment but, a flogging can quickly undo all the hard work. The Roosters will be looking to dimantle us, like they have in the past.
Sivo is a worry, this game will make or break him. Cronk, Keary and Tupo won't miss him. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sivo dropped.
