Looks like  A League want a winter comp next year .you can bet WSW will be wanting BankWest  for their home games .One Soccer commentator suggested that WSW might agree to play their games at a ground like That out of date ground down near Balmain. I'll tell you now that won't happen.knowing that mob as they still recon they are still the major tenant.i just hope The NRL and PARRA tell them know way .but the big problem will be is we don't own the ground and as I said .i can see a big shit fight happening. Not only for the different service's but the draws for both codes

  • A big bog fight would be much better.

  • We only play 11 games a year there. I'm sure we can manage it.
WSW are the ones with the problem.

      • Hey mate all good. I don't disagree with you. I just meant given the NRL dominates BankWest during winter (Eels and others) and now WSW wants to muscle in on that they are the ones with the issue. As you say soccer needs a pool table level ground and that's just not possible during the nrl season.

    • Yeah but the A League fans also talk about bumming each other behind the public toilets in Parra Park - and that does happen.

I'm pretty sure there's a clause in our tennant contract that the A League can't play at Bankwest within 5 days of a Parra game as it takes a minimum of 4 days to get the stank out of the stadium.

  • The reality is that BW Stadium doesn't get built without WSW. The NSW government wasn't going to build it just for the Eels, they needed two anchor tenants. There will be no fight, the Eels will get priority because we are the winter anchor tenant, WSW will have to work around us as they were meant to be the summer anchor tenant.

We don't own the stadium, we lease it, just as we did Pirtek Stadium. It's our home because we the fans make it that way on game day.

I don't know what's so difficult about this.

    • Your making too much sense Brett.
