Our loss to Newy has hurt our finals chances and taken our fate out of our hands. We are now looking closely at other results to get us in the 8. Although not ideal, the foot ball gods are on our side.
We NEED Brisbane to go down to Storm, it would be the result i would predict even if it had no relevance to our season. If Storm loose they could be pushed out of the 8 depending on other results.
And now we also NEED Warriors to loose to the Panthers next week. Panthers should get the job done, as long as they dont burn out this week against Manly.
Its not that big of an ask, and very much achievable.
First off, we MUST win in Canberra, i dont care if we make the finals(it would be nice thou) as long as we finish on a high smashing that Ricky Stewart coached team.

Over the years I've always found that if you need to rely on other results, they invariably don't work out for you. Of course I hope I am wrong.
Having said that it would appear that Broncos and Warriors losses next week are real possibilities.
