Huge challenge ahead for Moss

Eels fans, watch for Titans football manager Phil Moss to go close to joining Parramatta as part of the club's football department overhaul. Highly-respected Moss has more than a decade of experience in the game having also worked at Penrith, Cronulla and the Wests Tigers. Moss would be in charge of the club's salary cap and recruitment - an area which is in need of a serious makeover.

  • How long has Moss been at the Titans? Their recruitment hasn't set the world on fire for nearly a decade.

    • Good point.
    • Good point but at least he'd have a good network one would think.

He'd be a decent start, it should be a lot easier attracting Syd players than up there.

I know hes who BAs always wanted, he knocked us back a few times in the last few years.

  • Mate

Would be a great pickup . He goes all the way back to Brian smith days . Smart man and was instrumental in the early days of the infamous panthers 5 year plan and academy stuff.

Put it this way a massive yes . Arthur needs all the help he can get . Bit of parra in his DNA old boy moss too
  • I've just had a quick check. Was only at Titans from this year was with Cronulla from 2016 to 2018 and before that was with West Tigers for 2  years and before that was at Penrith. I am not sure why people are hailing Penrith as some kind of wonderful success story. In the last 10 years they have only made the finals 5 times and of those 5 times have only been top 4 once. Every other time the are fringe finalists that have no real chance.

    • Mossy used to let me park my obscenely expensive car behind Parra Stadium on game days....

      I'm a fan.

      • Do you still drive that Pinto Kram???
