Just a thought as the Panthers have done exceptionally well in 2022 as defending premiers winning the Minor Premiership by 6 points and in the grand final chasing back to back titles especially after losing a few players. How would the Eels perform in 2023 if they win on Sunday as defending premiers? They're losing Nuikore, Mahoney, Papali, Kaufusi, Stone, Opacic..They're gaining some players like old man Hodgson and a couple of others. It would interesting in 2023 if they're premiers.

Couldn't care less if we win this week and lose every game next year as long as we get that win
Let's win first, then the conversation will be relevant.
Enjoy the week it may not come around for a long
Other than Ice , the rest is meh. Mahoney has been utter rubbish for a big part of the seaon. Hodgson could work out much better IF age stays injury free. Bit of Pommy grit won't go astray. Will be an awesome on feild presence. If he gets injured then we are in strife , we do have Rein lurking around and well we will cross that bridge if and when it comes to it . Ice , well let's see how it plays out. We certainly have troops sitting ready to step up.
one things for sure , Penrith are losing more firepower than we are .
I couldn't be arsed thinking about it at this point in time.
I think if we get over the hump on Sunday it will translate to a more confident and consistent team in 23.
They are a talented group but to me they always lacked the self belief to win it. Let's see if they can win it when it counts on Sunday .
Good point Frank - self belief is a big one.
