Tough loss and a gap in class between comp game semi final game hopefully a lesson learnt.
Other winners of the round Cowboys, Raiders and Bunnies all looked good and capable of shaking things up.
Up next a tough Home game vs the unpredictable and determined Raiders.
If we win a tough trip to face the cowboys a team that gave us a flogging earlier this year.

Feeling good. The rest is a distraction, Eels will play Penrith in GF, which we will sadly lose, but will be pleased with the effort in getting there.
I think you have to be philosophical about what the outcome is. Take what you can get out of the season. Lots of teams and fans would much rather be in our shoes.
After watching Rosters and South i feel we are way behind.
After todays game I'm as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
Panthers had a full team, fully rested playing infront of a sold out crowd and played awesome.
and only put 27 on us with the eels playing a shocking 2nd half...

I think the loss was coming. We already beat Panthers twice and they were fully rested. Full of energy and full of motivation. They are also one of the most dominate teams I've ever seen. They only lost to the Storm because they had their big guns out, and only lost to Cowboys because the literally played their reserve grade side. We were the only team to knock them off fair and square, and we did it twice.
If we had of won on the weekend, the odds were that we'd meet them in the GF. Could we really beat them 4 times in 1 calendar year? Probably not.
Of course, it's much harder for us to make the GF now. But if we do, I think the loss will actually help us.
Ps, Bellemy and Robinson have left the building, both with more talented rosters than BA. We have to be doing something right.
I'm very confident against the Bunnies. Far less confident about beating Cows in NQ. But, they gave us a hiding earlier in the year. That suits us Eels. We usually respond well to that, like we did v Broncos and Dogs.

We gifted the panthers with possession and field position from our own stupid mistakes. I don't think they are unbeatable though. Would like the chance to have another crack at them in the GF.
Moses must play, we lose our long kicking game without him. Dylan, Lane and Ice were quiet but we played Penrith through the middle.
I think our edge will be too much for raiders this week.
I think we still in a good spot, where on the easier side of the finals draw. I think we can beat both raiders and cowboys and once we are in the gf anything can happen.
