As has been detailed recently, the possibility of the NRL being forced to lockdown due to COVID-19 is a massive concern of the game and the clubs.
We could sit here pointing fingers at who is responsible but that gets us nowhere.
Instead, our club needs us more than ever.
Firstly, if you can afford it, please don't go asking the club for a refund on your membership. This should specifically apply to those of us who have paid upfront. It is not the club's fault fans have been locked out of games, it is a government directive. If people start asking for refunds en-masse it would likely lead to staff lay-offs.
Secondly, if you aren't a member, look at purchasing a non-ticketed membership for $50.
Also, if you're looking at buying any Eels gear, buy it from the club and not from sports stores.
Support club sponsors where possible and visit the Leagues club. For now, the club remains open and members will have received updates regarding its continued operation.
Every dollar is going to count for the survival of our club.
