Got any stadium reviews from today?

How was the noise, food, steep rakes, atmosphere, etc?

I didnt get there today but was there for the opening sunday, was generally very impressed, how was your experience today if you went?

Well done BA, staff and the players, outstanding way to open the Parramatta Palace.

  • Was there today, and damn what an experience it was. Was setting just past the halfway mark and had a great view of the whole field. The food stores were easily accessible, and barely any lines as it felt things were moving at a quick pace. In my opinion, the only down side, was the chairs seem a bit too tight.

    • What was the crowd noise/ acoustics like?

      • Quite deafening, helped by the echoing throughout the stadium. I hope the fans keep it up.

  • It looks awesome. Can't wait to get there for a game. Be good to hear some thoughts from those that were there today.

    • looked amazing on TV but the seat colour looked poor i thought, it was obvious there was empty seats up the back..

      • The lighting at the ground is muted to the point where you don’t notice the seats.

        • But in the day you see them clearly, there were huge gaps all around the top of the ground, the white/creme seats stand out like dogs balls on tv, they needed more darker seats mixed in up the back.

Just been looking at a few pics of the empty seats on the WSW, looked well over 1000 and they really stand out, so big fail with the seating colours and mix of colours imo.

          • The biggest gaps were in the 2md tier of the Northern stand, which if I'm not mistaken is all GA seating, so you would expect them to be more empty. The shading of the seats doesn't bother me to be honest, I prefer that to be crazy patchwork at the Gabba. That makes my physically ill.

      • Mate Iv been saying the same thing about the seat colour. Why not have blue and gold seats to disguise the empty seats and give a better visual impact??

        • Read somewhere primarily because we share Bankwest Stadium with The Wanderers hence the "neutral" colours & so other Teams can use the stadium too. I mean how would we feel if the seats were all Red & Black in the colours of WSW? Still though Clive, like you, I'd rather Blue & Gold all day everyday :/

I totally agree with your comments regarding the importance and benefits regarding local juniors at discounted rates, however,  this is only a factor with their 1st contract if they show promise.  Once a player starts showing they have regular…"

"Nah Tago is a centre who may later transition into the backrow. I believe Turuva will leave the club which is fair enough. I think May will move back to the wing and the Mclean brothers will start making their way into FG. Panthers have Laurie and…"

"We definitely need Lomax more than we need Grieg. Plus I back BA to develop gun forwards if we need to. We already have amazing forwards coming through our Matt, SG and Flegg team."
