* Have the the defence to win a comp✅
Our Premiership window is well and truly open, If working on a bit of attack is our only problem I think we're going pretty dam good👍

Yeah maybe a little bit of optimism there lol Guess I'm just pumped as the season is approaching quickly. Glass half full type of bloke.
Now we don't want the negativity of the fans to catch on to the players now do we lol.
A lot of people won't like this blog because it is positive towards the Eels chances this year, or will it be because I've made some good points🤷♂️
I think we are all pumped mate.I am---I do need a footy type boost coming into my favourite part of the year..We have to take the little goodies that come our way and fight off the negative that also is part of any game. Learning how to do it is a challenge but worth it. Being grumpy at the best seasons of the year is not very smart. We have to accept that 1 sixteenth of the footy population will be very happy. Let's not give them the satisfaction that they have ruined our little party.

The way I see it is the two usual suspects will still be hard to beat Storm(without Smith an unknown) and Roosters(no recognized half) then there is the Rabbits (team to beat,best backline plus jai Arrow and Marshall)Therefore the odds are stacked against us as I believe we have a solid team with some weeknesses out wide and no real x factor .It will take a full season of luck and near flawless execution to even get close to those 3 teams.At our absolute best if those teams have major injuries and play below thier best,we can do it,yes we can.
I really don't think anyone was beating Storm last year .Panthers we re defensively awesome last year and the Storm pulled their pants down.Roosters lost Radley and Rabbits lost Latrell,,a little better luck with injuries etc and we may have made the big dance.This year will be harder with Roosters ,Storm,Bunnies,Panthers, and don't forget Raiders.I like our team but like I said we need to be @ 100% ,and we are lacking a real gamebreaker, a Semi Radradra or a dare I say it ,a Hayne.Our biggest hope there is Moses,he needs to run more than he passes.He is explosive and can find space,but his first thought needs to be show and go.Same with Dylan ,he actually has a damn fine jinking step and speed off the mark.Players in motion,backing up every play,second phase and runners hitting holes at speed.And plenty of luck.
You boys forget Penruff! They only lost 2 games last year.
