How to get sent off

So, essentially, you can belt some bloke late, in the head, and get put on report. You can trip a bloke, and nothing. What do you have to do to get sent off. Perhaps pull an assault weapon or sleep with a refs wife, otherwise I can't see an offence that gets you sent off these days. Maybe play for a team who rorts the cap? Depends which team I guess.

  • Maxwells refereeing is shocking.

    • Burgess and Blair should have both been sin binned
    • Yes you can HFK. If it's repeated foul play it definitely can be. Running 3rd man in can also get binned (even without punches). E.g. Hayne vs Corey Payne. Hayne got binned. Few minutes later Hindy & Ennis got binned. Refs are just too hesitant to use it nowadays as they're worried it might influence the result too much, even if it was justified. I think we may see a crackdown soon with the blatant ref touching, tripping, penalties when defending inside the 10m, that have been a trend this year.
    • Burgess tackle was fine nothing in it.
    • A couple of things I also noticed in the first half before I got bored and turned the TV off were....1) Did Adam Reynolds touch the referee with the first no try of the match?? And 2) Why didn't the bunker get involved just like in the parra Penrith game and overturn the on field decision that Souths knocked the ball on. This led to a scrum 10 out from the Souths line and Broncos score from the scrum base. Replays showed that Souths did not touch the ball as indicated by the refs but it was the Broncos who touched the ball and thus lost control and knocked it on.
It's amazing how the Broncos get every 50/50 call.
While I'm on my bandwagon!!! It was nice to see the coaches with the players for the last post last night and The Souths coach in a suit with the poppy blazoned across his lapel yet that sanctimonious arsehole Bennett stands there wearing jeans a collared shirt rolled up at the sleeves and looking like a homeless anorexic bum. Well done Bennett you are a true ambassador for the game as it stands right now!!!

    • Wrong blog dude
  • Adam Blair should have been sent. Late, high and cheap shot on a playmaker. Nothing in the burgess one. Unnecessary probably, penalty sufficient.

"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
